Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager’s goal is to develop and drive end to end marketing strategies, execute and deliver sales and marketing research, lead projects and initiatives for the hip and knee implants business. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for collaborating with various departments including but not limited to sales, sales consulting, product marketing, customer service, supply chain, GPOs, distributors, wholesalers and hospitals. They will also be responsible for working with hospitals and surgeons to develop, adapt, and execute highly effective marketing programs and initiatives that increase market awareness, generate demand and growth sales revenue across multiple market segments. The Marketing Manager should understand multiple personas and business segments, know how to capture and execute effective market insights, design account-based strategy plans, and be able to drive integrated marketing programs. They will also need to report monthly on campaign metrics and KPIs that track towards quarterly goals.

Qualifications

This position requires the following qualifications (at a minimum):

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing and communications.
  • 3+ years of experience working in medical devices marketing preferably in orthopedics.
  • Execution-oriented, creative, and able to bring innovative ideas that increase engagement within a fast-paced, high-growth market segment.
  • Ability to effectively gather and utilize market research to identify and analyze the needs of the market, the market size and the competition.
  • Outstanding organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and frequent distractions and interruptions.
  • Ability to manage projects across various, regionally distributed teams.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation systems.
  • Strong project management and process improvement skillset.
  • Ability to negotiate contracts and establish networks and strategies with marketing vendors and distributors
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated ability to initiate and maintain cooperative, collaborative, effective working relationships with external partners, staff employees, and the public.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing. MA/MS or MBA preferred.
